Shane Yerrel - Essex

Shane, who lives in Loughton - Essex, has strong feelings against knife crime and feels that more people should make a stand. He also wants to make people aware of how it can affect others by using a knife, encourage people to get involved and support what he is doing.

Shane was in fact a victim of a knife attack himself. He also hopes that what he is doing will encourage other people to do something in the memory Rob Knox or anyone else that has been affected as a result of knife crime.

Shane would like to say

'I have chosen the Rob Knox Foundation because I was touched by the story. I love the way that he stood up to the scumbag that had the knife. He died protecting his brother and that to me shows that he was not only brave and fearless, but also very caring and a family man'
